What Is Known

Zargon was a god of apocalyptic evil — a being who believed the world was a wound and his destruction was mercy. His cult operated in the Caverns of Thracia, sacrificing captives and plotting the end of all things.

The party confronted and defeated Zargon’s power in the depths of Thracia. His cult is shattered, his schemes undone. What remains of him — if anything — is unknown.

Deep lore recovered from the Lost City reveals that Zargon was a son of Set — created by the Serpent God as an instrument of apocalyptic chaos. Whether Zargon served his father willingly or was merely a tool cast aside is not known.

How He’s Depicted

A horned, gaunt figure wreathed in sickly green-black flame, a void where his face should be. His cult used inverted imagery: candles burning green, symbols drawn backwards, chants spoken in reverse. The most common motif is a horned crown suspended above an open eye weeping blood.
